Business Development Manager

We are looking for a motivated individual who is able to build client relationships and trust in the Haze Real Estate brand through their with both the Sales and Property Management team as a Business Development Manager. Business Development

The purpose of this role is to source, build and develop

new business opportunities domestically, to ensure the commercial success of Haze Real Estate This

role is the development of client relationships to drive the increase in Real Estate vendor and

Landlord clientele, CRM practices, and the effective building and maintenance of productive

networks that garner new business opportunities. All the while ensuring

competitive price requirements to meet customer demand while providing an outstanding client

service which will meet monthly targets and are all compliant with the

Residential Tenancies Act 1986 and Real Estate Agents Act 2008.


The perfect candidate will be able to:

• Take full responsibility for results;

• Own decisions and be accountable;

• Present information, analysis, ideas, and positions in writing in a clear and convincing manner;

• Drive the commercial success of Haze Real Estate by creating value;

• Build long-term, strategic and sustainable relationships with customers/partners;

• Treats customers as people and with respect rather than faceless organisations/teams;

• Gets out of the office and is visible in the workplace and at crucial meetings; 

• Is friendly and approachable;

• Achieves win-win outcomes by identifying common interests, clarifying differences, and achieving consensus or compromise; and

• Co-ordinates and schedules own workflow.


In order to be successful in your application the following is essential:

• NCEA Numeracy and Literacy (Level 3 or equivalent)

• Minimum of 2 years successful experience in business development

• Minimum 2 years experience in Sales and Marketing

• Minimum 2 years using Microsoft Office (in particular word and excel)

• Full clean drivers license

• Ability to travel

• Legal right to work in New Zealand


New and experienced real estate sales people
